- Shuttle Buses

The berths of the cruise ships are mainly located in the industrial harbour. As the port area is not freely accessible, shuttle buses are used for cruise ship passengers. These usually go to Piazza del Municipio or to Piazza Grande, which is about 150 metres away. Depending on the shipping company, shuttle buses cost between 8 and 12 euros per person. If the buses are provided by the city, however, no costs are incurred.

Livorno Card

At the tourist information you can buy the Livorno Card. The day ticket costs 3 euros and entitles you to free travel on local city buses and free admission to some museums. There are also discounts from various providers.

- Cathedral

Cattedrale di San Francesco, or also called Duomo San Francesco, is located directly at the Piazza Grande. The church, built in the 16th century, was rebuilt according to original plans after its destruction in the Second World War. The cathedral houses paintings dating from the 17th and 18th centuries.

- Bus to Pisa

For crusaders some bus connections may be interesting. One of them is certainly bus line 10, whose buses stop directly behind the cathedral, near the stop of the harbour shuttle. From there the journey continues to Pisa. But for one direction, one should plan a travel time of 55-60 minutes per direction.
