- Berths of the Cruise Liners
The berths of the pier Botafoc are located just outside Ibiza Town. A shuttle bus of the shipping companies runs to the old town for a fee. The transfer time is about 10 minutes. For example, Tui Cruises costs 9 euros and Aida 10 euros for the return trip. A taxi costs about 10 Euro for this route, each direction. Alternatively, the Ibiza Port Bus runs every 30 minutes to the Formentera ferry landing stage near the old town. This bus departs from the car park at the tourist information office. The cost is 4.50 euros per person, for round trip. A day ticket for unlimited rides costs 9 euros. There is also a water taxi that commutes in the harbour area. This ferry boat brings its guests to the old town and back again for 4 euros. For children 2,60 Euro are called. The berth Levante Quai is located directly at the foot of the old town and is rather used by "smaller" cruise ships. Therefore, no shuttle bus is needed or used there.
- Cruise Ship at Anchor
In Ibiza (Eivissa), you will usually moor at the Botafoc pier or the Levante Quai. If these berths are already reserved and occupied by other cruise liners, it can also happen that you will be anchored on site, i.e. your own ship will be in the sea. In this case the guests are brought ashore with the tender boats. This often results in delays during excursions or shore excursions that are undertaken on one's own initiative. In order to be able to keep to the schedules of the tours booked and carried out by the respective shipping companies, these excursionists are preferred to be brought ashore first.
- Ferries
In the port itself you have the possibility to be transferred to Formentera. The fast ferries from Trasmapi leave every 30 minutes during the high season. Big ferries also take cars. In addition, smaller ferry companies offer harbour tours, scheduled trips and excursions. Some of the interesting glass-bottom boats are also in use.
- Buses in Ibiza
The island-wide bus network is served by several operators. There is no central bus station in Ibiza City (Eivissa). Therefore, the long streets Av. ďIsodor Macabich and Av. ďEspanya are used. So there are several stops for different lines. The modern buses are air-conditioned. But there exist also older models. Normally, one gets the tickets in the bus from the driver, if there is no external ticket office at the bus stop or that it is closed. The purchased tickets are only valid for the line. When changing buses, you always have to buy a new ticket.
- Historical Old Town
The old town is divided into two areas. Within the city walls lies the upper town Dalt Vita. Below/outside the walls is the lower town with the quarters Sa Penya (former fishermen's quarter) and La Marina. All kinds of shops, bars, cafés and restaurants can be found throughout the area. Many narrow and partly steep alleys lead between the old houses.
- Access to the Upper Town
The Portal de Ses Taules gate serves as the main access point and allows access via an old drawbridge. Through the metre-thick castle wall one reaches the upper town of Dalt Vita. The wall is walkable. The former cannon sites now serve as excellent vantage points with panoramic views of land and water.
- Cathedral Santa Maria
The Cathedral de Santa Maria located in Dalt Vita is already noticeable from a distance, especially its imposing bell tower. The building was constructed in the 14th century in Gothic style and was adapted to the Baroque in the 17th century. Those who want to visit the interior should pay attention to appropriate clothing. From the forecourt of the cathedral there is also a very good view.
- Archaeological Museum
The archaeological museum Museo Arqueologic ď Eivissa is located right at the forecourt of the cathedral (Plaza de Catedral). The remarkable exhibits come exclusively from Ibiza and Formentera. Thus, the historical development of the islands is presented. The entrance fee is 2,40 Euro. Children pay half. During the winter months from October to March it is open Tuesday to Saturday from 09:30-15:00. In the summer months from April to September it is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00-14:00 and from 18:30-21:00. Sunday always from 10:00-14:00 o'clock. Closed on Mondays and public holidays.

- Talamanca Beach
The wide, fine sandy beach of Talamanca is about 1500 meters away from the pier Botafoc. It takes a good 25-30 minutes on foot to get there. From the Levante Quai / Old Town it is about 2300 meters away. For this distance you can plan 30-35 minutes. WC, showers, bars and restaurants are in the immediate vicinity. Sunbeds and parasols can be rented. This beach near the city is very popular and therefore often quite crowded. It also has barrier-free accesses.
- Figueretas Beach
In the suburb Figueretas there is the beach of the same name that is approximately 100 metres long. Sunbeds and parasols are offered. The beautiful promenade is surrounded by palm trees. Showers, bars and restaurants are in the immediate vicinity. This beach has barrier-free accesses.
- Bossa Beach
The extensive beach Playa d'en Bossa is the longest beach of Ibiza with over 2 km, popular and very lively in the season. Towards the southern end it becomes quieter. The sand is fine-grained, and the water depth increases slowly. Sunbeds and parasols can be rented. Beach clubs, bars, restaurants and small shops are represented here in considerable numbers. This beach has barrier-free accesses and is served by bus line 14. The bus stop in Ibiza City (Eivissa) is Parada C at Av. de Isidor Macabich 26-28 (Bar Gran Via).
- Restored Fortified Tower
At the southern end of the Playa d'en Bossa, at the calle San Francisco 2, there is the Torre de sa Sal Rossa (Torre des Carregador), a former fortified tower that provides a wonderful view. Restored in 2008, the fortified tower was originally built in the 16th century and had room for up to 200 people. This type of tower is often found in the coastal regions of Ibiza. They were originally built for defence purposes.
- Aguamar Waterpark
In the immediate vicinity of the beach Playa d'en Bossa is the water park Aguamar Water Park. You can also reach it with the bus line 14. Slides and water basins of different kinds provide fun for young and old. A children's playground, a restaurant, lawns for sunbathing, changing rooms, toilets, showers and lockers complete the offer. Open daily from 10:00-18:00. The entrance fee is 18 euros. For children up to 12 years 10 Euros are charged.
- Shopping
The streets Avenida Bartolomé Roselló, Vara de Rey and the small streets and alleys in between are ideal for shopping. Numerous well-known shops have settled here. There are also many small shops and boutiques spread throughout the old town, which are often open until 22:00 in the summer months. The Marina Botafoch is an exclusive place. Here famous designer shops open their doors, and you can dine in the best restaurants.
- Lookout Points
The viewpoints to the island Es Vedra offer picturesque sunsets. This small uninhabited island rises 380 metres out of the sea and is located in the southwest of Ibiza. In front of it is the Es Vedranell with 126 metres. The distance from the mooring Botafoc is about 25 kilometres. Therefore, a trip by rental car is recommended. It takes 35-45 minutes for one direction, depending on the destination. Good views are offered, for example, from the small beach Cala ďHort and the former fortified tower Torre des Savinar.
